MyBag - A Wearable Computing project

A line of handbags inducing physical and virtual networking and self expression.
The handbags are equipped with a screen showing user generated content and laid with a trasciever. When 2 bags come into proximity they signal each other on their display screens and exchange IDs. Owners can now look for each other on the street or wait till home and look up their partner's public profile using the collected IDs.

Indirect Space Sampling for the HP Model

Common space sampling AI searches (MC, GA, Pruning, Evolutionary Algs, etc.)
produce infertile conformations. Replacing structure space with matrix space
distances from biology but improves algorithms results and run time.

Heuristical Search for 2D HP Model

An approximation algorithm for finding maximal contacts (minimum energy) in the 2D HP model for protein folding via a pruned search tree.

Protein Similarity Project

Web based software that finds homologies between two 3D images of Proteins. Allows quality assessment of protein predictions versus real protein structure.
